About the roleApplications are invited for a motivated and committed Senior Data Health Analyst to combine the primary care records from Major European cohorts in order to answer key questions about the epidemiology and natural history of metabolic-dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease. Applicants will work within the Blizard Institutes, Centre of Immunobiology which combines cutting-edge research with top quality education in all areas of immunobiology. The Centres research investigates the major mechanisms by which the immune system functions, with the ultimate aim of easing the burden of major immune-related public health issues. The postholder will provide high level informatics support to investigate risk factors associated with the clinical progression of metabolic-dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease with liver, renal and cardiovascular outcomes; including type 2 diabetes and its control. They will develop and maintain the core data infrastructure of the project which will include quality control, data mining, derivation of phenotype codes and engineering to combine high quality research databases to enable the subsequent integrative analysis. They will conduct advanced statistical and epidemiological modelling with the use of artificial intelligence to conduct meta-analysis across the databases and uncover insights extracted from the data. About YouThis post requires a dedicated and motivated Senior Health Data Analyst to help drive this exciting project forward. Applicants must have a BSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline and additional qualifications in statistics, epidemiology or similar.
