We are very pleased to announce that our Infrastructure team have been awarded the Key Delivery Partner (KDP) 8 framework contract at Sellafield, Cumbria. Our role will include design development and delivery of the Concrete Structures, Groundworks and Blockwork package which is estimated to be worth £1bn over the next 15+ years.
Due to this our Infrastructure team are looking to hire a passionate, self-driven Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) professional to join the team and support us to achieve industry leading HSW performance.
This is fantastic opportunity to work directly with our Head of HSW on companywide strategy and continuous improvement.

The Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager – Group Services role
The Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) department supports the business to reduce HSW risk and create positive working environments.
At SRM, our goal is to achieve industry leading HSW performance. We place equal focus to the following five areas, Competence, Process, Culture, Compliance and Learning, which are integral to our continuous improvement. We believe that to be an industry leader, collaboration with industry peers to make the industry a better place is key.
The purpose of the Senior HSW Manager – Group Services is to directly work with and support the Head of HSW on delivery of the HSW strategy objectives and continuous improvement. This person must be self-driven and highly motivated to improving HSW performance in SRM and the wider Construction / Civil Engineering industry
Your profile
Essential
Experience of managing a team of HSW Professionals
Member of IOSH working towards Chartered Status
Experience of delivering HSW improvement within an organisation
Competent understanding and ability to apply root cause analysis
Experience of chairing / managing HSW working groups
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Desired
Chartered member of IOSH
NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and Safety
Experience of providing H&S support to complex Construction or Civil Engineering projects
Experience of working on companywide CMS process
Learning and Development experience
Behavioural safety experience
Previous involvement in Wellbeing strategy / groups
