If you're a Senior House Officer or Registrar, you can be based in one of Ireland's most well known teaching hospitals and gaining experience in the field of Chemical Pathology.
You must have active General Registration with the Irish Medical Council, in-date IELTs or OET and have gained some previous experience in the Pathology Departments.

Responsibilities include:
Laboratory-focused tasks: This involves establishing clinical connections with service users, conducting clinical audits, managing clinical risks, and contributing to educational initiatives.
Direct clinical responsibilities: The SHO will be able to actively participate in Endocrinology, Diabetes, CVD Risk Factor management, and outpatient clinics for Metabolic/Porphyria under the guidance of the consultant chemical pathologist.
The position provides an outstanding opportunity for research involvement. The department's research pursuits encompass biochemical and genetic aspects of Porphyrias and dyslipidaemias, such as familial Hypercholesterolaemia, along with the examination of real-world laboratory data.
Additional duties and responsibilities may be undertaken as deemed appropriate.
