ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an opportunity to join the busy Housing Options Team. The role of The Senior Housing Options Caseworker involves providing support and casework management assistance to the Caseworkers The post requires leadership and a confident, engaging and a diplomatic communicator who is able to analyse data and monitor trends to ensure the service can meet the daily demands of clients who are homeless, threatened with homelessness or in need of housing advice.
A DBS check and a Values Based Interview will be carried out for this post
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have
  • The ability to lead and effectively assist the Housing Options Manager in the management of the team in the delivery of a high-quality customer focused Housing Options Service.
  • As the supervising case worker, you will lead on allocating and monitoring the work of the Housing Options Caseworkers. In addition, you will complete reviews of cases.
  • The ability to carry out random and annual quality assurance checks using these to inform regular casework reviews with officers on a planned basis and addressing queries raised by officers on specific cases.
  • To be responsible to sign off non-complex decisions made by officers ensuring that decisions are adequately supported by case records.
  • To effectively manage the delivery of the team through the development and management of Rota’s
  • To carry out section 202 reviews as needed
