ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a lead role in delivering the work of the Council’s housing services for a specific area of the Borough and to effect the transformation and continuous improvement of frontline housing management across all housing tenures. You will have a solid understanding of relevant legislation with demonstrable experience of leading successful housing teams whilst being focused on the end-to-end customer experience.
Leading a team of staff, you will deliver clear and equitable leadership to motivate your team to maximise their potential as well as raising levels of customer satisfaction. You will have a strong focus on performance management and be responsible for ensuring staff deliver an efficient, responsive, and proactive service, coordinating the successful delivery of all key performance indicators within the service in accordance with relevant council policies and procedures.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Housing Officer to assist the Resident and Estates Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality housing services for our residents within a performance management framework and meeting statutory requirements.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Housing Officer who wants to work in a customer-centred service. The role requires a working knowledge of housing and leasehold management, best practice, and the ability to interpret legislation into understandable guidelines. The successful candidate will be experienced in staff management and project management.

We are looking for someone:

A full UK driving licence (with access to own vehicle) is desirable.
