Location: Maidstone (On-site location, this is not a remote / hybrid role)
The Senior Human Resources Advisor is responsible for providing in-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation whilst demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day to day HR support to staff and managers.
Provide expert advice and support on a range of HR issues to guide managers on all areas of employee relations.
Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation. Participate in meetings, presenting workforce information and reports and communicating strategies for achieving HR KPI's.
Act as a point of contact for employee payroll queries, resolving pay issues in conjunction with the Workforce team, the outsourced payroll service, and other members of the wider HR team.
Design and deliver HR related training courses.
Undertake delegated pieces of work and projects from the Employee Relations Manager as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a HR Advisor or similar HR role.
Always uphold professional standards and act as a role model for others.
Constantly update CPD knowledge to ensure best practice is received.
CIPD qualified or equivalent level of experience.
