Senior HR Advisor, Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits, Manufacturing Company (Northampton), Great Team, On site position Monday to Friday.
Senior HR Advisor overview:
The Senior HR Advisor will play a pivotal part in supporting the development and growth of this manufacturing company most important and valued asset - its people. The Senior HR Advisor will be accountable for delivering the operational elements of the Human Resources plan and ensuring the day-to-day operations of the HR function are running efficiently and effectively.
Ideally we are looking for someone with experience of working in a busy HR team and who is as passionate about making a real difference. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing professional Generalist HR advice to Colleagues and Managers ensuring the highest level of customer service. You will also be managing ER Casework, supporting on-site recruitment and helping with new and exciting HR Projects.
Senior HR Advisor Duties:
Supporting managers in all aspects of HR management including discipline, grievance, absence management and the entire employee life cycle.
Working closely with Managers on site and providing sound HR Advice whilst providing coaching and guidance to help them become better managers.
Supporting Managers and Colleagues in managing absence, reviewing and reporting absence data on a weekly and monthly basis.
Keeping up to date with changes in employment law legislation / best practice and implementing this in the workplace.
Play a key role in driving cultural change alongside our leadership team, contributing to a workplace that thrives on innovation and collaboration.
Attend and support colleague ways of working meetings and listening groups
Help support the HR Team on dealing with all queries into HR, both face to face and through the HR Support mailbox, responding, allocating tasks and managing resolution.
What's in your DNA/Experience Needed:
Ideally you will have gained good Generalist HR experience within a manufacturing or similar fast paced environment.
Solid Employee Relations (ER) experience as 50% of this position will be ER focussed
Adept at adapting to change in a fast-paced environment, showcasing a strong sense of personal responsibility.
CIPD qualified would be an advantage to this position however its not an essential
Possess a strong working knowledge of employment law and current legislation
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade, influence and when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy.
