What does the role involve?
As our Senior HR Advisoryou'll support the People Plan to encourage a positive and inclusive culture that creates strong people engagement and client relationships aligned to Sweco’s Core Behaviours. You’ll deliver a best in class Employee Relations (ER) service which provides advice, guidance and challenge to managers and employees, ensuring effective implementation of workforce policies, procedures, practices and standards.
You’ll build strong relationships with Sweco’s managers, acting as a trusted advisor to support them in matters such as grievances, disciplinaries and performance. You’ll lead and report on absence, occupational health referrals and exit interviews, identifying trends and appropriate measures to ensure that we get the best from our employees and maintain a positive and supportive work culture. In addition, you’ll support the Head of HR Business Partnering and HR Leadership team with employee initiatives and projects around development, engagement, workforce planning and health and wellbeing.
To be successful in this role you’ll possess:
- Strong Employee Relations experience (essential).
- A proven track record track record in generalist HR with a strong working knowledge of people related best practice processes.
- Excellent emotional intelligence, communication and relationship management skills.
- The capacity to build strong relationships and influence decision-making within the business.
- The ability to understand business and commercial issues to ensure HR activities are aligned to business needs.
- Ability to role model collaborative skills aligned to the culture and behaviours.
- Experience in producing HR MI reports and manipulating data.
- Excellent analytical and excel skills with strong data skills in order to analyse and identify trends and root causes.
- Highly organised and efficient.
- CIPD Qualification (desirable).
