Oakleaf Partnership are working with a large retail business who are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join and support their South West region and partner with senior leaders. The role joins the business during a period of change and will support the execution of business and workforce strategies driving best outcomes and performance across the region. Regular travel will be required across the Southwest specifically areas surrounding Exeter, Taunton, Plymouth, Yeovil. If you live in the Southwest UK this is a great opportunity for you.
What is the role?
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will report into the Director of People and partner with Senior leaders across your region (South West UK) to translate business strategy into people plans. The role will coach and manage upwards and have a deep understanding of the priorities for this region. An understanding of the broader picture is required in order to think commercially. The role will lead, coach and engage leaders for a high-performance culture, and embed business change, ways of working and behaviours. It will be essential to build and maintain meaningful relationships that drive the business forward. You will identify, nurture and build efficient talent capabilities.
Candidate profile/experience
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, and complex, commercial organisation. You will have experience of creating and delivering people plans and leading on delivery across a multi-site region. You will have experience of significant organisational change and transformation and be an expert in talent management. You will have strong influencing skills and be willing to work at an operational level in order to deliver.
