Job title: Senior HR Manager

Contract type: 6 months temporary role

Hours: Full time

Hybrid working: 2/3 days at home

Location: A short walk from Stratford station

Responsible to: Head of Finance & Resources

Responsible for: HR Advisor, HR Assistant and L&D Coordinator

Pay: £25.82 - £30.22 an hour + accrued holiday pay

Are you a passionate seasoned HR professional with a keen interest in in education?

If so this exciting Senior HR Manager role is the right role for you. Looking after an existing team of 3 people you will ensure that the team delivers a comprehensive HR service to the wider organisation.

This educational charity aims to improve life chances of children and young people by maximising educational opportunities. They work in partnership with schools, families and local authorities to achieve this.

As a result of recent expansion this HR function and team has grown in the recent year and this is a fantastic opportunity to review existing processes, and policies.

Working as Senior HR Manager your duties will include;

• Overseeing the team and ensuring that all services are being delivered in a timely manner
• Reviewing existing HR processes to improve response time
• Review all existing HR policies and procedures, ensuring they meet current legislations
• Support the establishment of application tracking system
• Reviewing existing appraisal processes and improving where possible
• Reviewing all L&D processes and procedures making efficiencies to maximise impact on wider business
• Managing a variety of ER cases

The skills you will bring to the position of Senior HR Manager will include;

• Strong management experience
• A proven track record in reviewing and implementing policy
• Knowledge and experience of ER cases
• Working knowledge of restructures and redundancies

This is an exciting opportunity overseeing the day to day BAU HR function ensuring the team is completing all administrative tasks, whilst you will be more involved in day strategic review of HR functions including L&D, policy and L&D giving your opportunity to create long term change and impact.
