The business is sustainably profitable and are ready to embark on the next stage of their development, with the appointment of a IT Manager to support their growth.

Key responsibilities as follows:
Ownership and responsibility of all domains within the company’s estate including 24/7 delivery of mission critical production environment to our customers, and back-office environment for staff.
Design, plan and execute IT and security related strategies to develop and optimise new systems, working alongside the development team to implement and deploy new projects such as ChatGPT together with enhancements and updates to the existing systems.
Delivery of key IT processes, in line with ISO27001:2022 framework to ensure compliance in system security and the management of systems, including:
· Incident and Major Incident prevention and management
· Change control
· Access control
· Disaster Recovery definition, monitoring and testing
· Capacity management
· Vulnerability management
· Asset and configuration management
· Knowledge management
Prepare IT related reports and present findings and recommendations to the leadership team.
Due to the nature of this role, you should be available outside office hours to implement updates and assist with priority 1 issue.
Key requirements for the role
Experience with Windows environments, virtualisation using Hyper-V and VMware, including services such as IIS, Veeam, PRTG, SQL Server and networking concepts.
Experience in a similar role ideally with a DevOps background in web applications and SQL skills and knowledge.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Highly organised, efficient, and up to date with latest technologies.
Process driven and ability to understand the completely project life-cycle including creating and updating all relevant documentation for the IT and support team.
Flexibility to work outside office hours as and when required.
