SalaryClark James are working with a very successful specialist Insurance Brokerage in the Dartford area who are currently seeking a Claims Handler to join their friendly team.
The main purpose of this role will be to process claims from existing clients for all types of wheels based and transport insurance; Motor, Commercial, Goods in Transit, Liability, Property amongst others.
Further duties will include:
- Loading claim information onto IT system including scanning
- Notifying insurance companies
- Arranging for repairs to be carried out
- Liaising with customers, insurers, loss adjusters and account executives
- Preparing reports
- Maintaining claims statistics
- Chasing insurers for updated information / settlement details
- Pursuing uninsured loss recoveries
- Negotiating claims settlements
- Being client focused - ensuring client satisfaction
You will be working closely with Account Executives responsible for the portfolio of clients to ensure the client's needs are met.
