- Leading and managing internal audit assignments.
- Developing and executing audit plans.
- Identifying potential areas of risk.
- Preparing detailed reports on audit findings.
- Presenting findings to management and suggesting improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff.
- Working closely with other departments to optimise business processes.
Profile
The successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA or CIA
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
