Senior Internal Communications Executive

Company: Global supplier of construction materials and infrastructure solutions

Location: Stockport (hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)

Full time: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Salary: up to £40k DOE

Benefits include: Bonus scheme, Company Pension, etc.

As the Senior Internal Communications Executive, you'll take charge of steering our client's corporate Internal Communications strategy to create a meaningful impact on their organisational culture.
Leading Internal Communications, you'll set goals and performance indicators to boost engagement and understanding of the company's strategy.
Collaborating with the communications team, marketing, and HR, you'll implement solutions that align with our client's Internal Communications objectives.
Your duties also involve providing best practice advice and collecting feedback from senior management to ensure effective communication reaches our client's internal population.
The role is both attractive and challenging and would suit someone who has self-motivation and initiative.

The Role:

· Formulating, implementing, and assessing our client's Internal Communications strategy.

· Taking the lead in organising internal events, including the management conference and employee awards ceremony.

· Distributing our client's routine employee newsletter and monthly briefings.

· Offering guidance and gathering input on Internal Communications from senior management.

· Collaborating with the in-house creative team, which includes a graphic designer and photographer.

· Reviewing and editing written content.

· Enhancing employer branding efforts.

Who are we looking for?

· Experienced in planning and executing internal communication activities.

· Proficient copywriter and proof-reader with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

· Skilled in building relationships, establishing trust with senior stakeholders, and meeting project deadlines.

· Proven track record in creating engaging events programs, demonstrating strong organisational skills.

· Additional attributes include a proactive and 'can do' attitude, excellent written and verbal communication, confident and personable demeanor, adaptability to change, and the ability to learn.

· Desirable: Experience working with marketing agencies.
