Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Inventory Accountant to join our finance team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of experience in inventory accounting, a CPA qualification, and proficiency in Blackline. Why join us?

And much more! Job Details Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports.
• Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Review and improve inventory accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of experience in accounting, exposure to inventory accounting is a major plus.
• Proficiency in Blackline is a plus
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
