About the role
You will be working in a fast paced close-knit apps development squad. We use market leading tools such as CircleCI for testing and deployment, coupled with Maestro for E2E testing and have a mature data plan to enable us to experiment and help us make impactful decisions. You will be contributing to the highest rated parking app in the UK, with millions of downloads. We’re passionate about clean, testable, self-documenting code, we use Swift 5 almost exclusively, and target the most recent SDKs so we can use the latest and greatest device features available to us. We have a flexible, protocol-driven architecture, built with clean architecture in mind.
Requirements
Key Result Areas
- Meeting app performance benchmarks and user satisfaction metrics
- Successfully launching new app features and updates
- Contributing to a positive team culture and knowledge sharing
Knowledge, skills and experience
- You’ve shipped and iterated on at least one app in the App Store
- You write clean, maintainable, tested code
- You love turning excellent design into beautiful products
- You have a passion for developing apps that delight users
- You want to build an app that every driver you know uses every day
- You have an understanding of the principles of computer science
- You have at least 3 years commercial experience as a developer
- At least 1 years experience in a Senior iOS developer capacity
- Experience with running experiments in an analytics platform and comfortable with making decisions based on data
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Optimising app performance and ensuring responsiveness.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers
Nice-to-have but not essential:
- Experience working in a startup
- Experience with developing in Flutter
- Familiarity with other programming languages and databases
- Contributing to open source projects
- Experience with UI Testing
- Experience with in-car platforms
- A proactive attitude to adopting AI tooling
