We are excited to be expanding our in-house IT team by recruiting a Senior IT Support Technician. We are in the process of bringing our IT helpdesk service in-house, to do so we need an experienced, patient and highly motivated individual who is looking for a more senior IT Support Technician opportunity to join our newly formed IT team.

About the Senior IT Support Technician role:

You, our IT Support technician, and IT Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day support requirements of the foundation and its subsidiaries. As par of your role as the Senior in the team, you will be investigating and managing escalated support tickets and providing more advanced Microsoft365 support, you will be expected to deputise in the absence of our IT Manager.

The role is a permanent hybrid role, 30% of your time will be based in our London, Southwark office. You will support the IT manager roll out the IT procedures, offering training and guidance to employees as required.

About you:

• Customer Service Experience. Demonstrable IT Helpdesk experience.
• Excellent communication skills, dealing with both users and stakeholders.
• Incident management and ownership and good prioritisation.
• Service ownership and taking responsibility for a great level of service.
• Experience of mentoring colleagues and/or direct reports through professional development. Comfortable formulating and delivering user training and guidance.
• Supporting Microsoft Office suite, Windows 11 and web applications; software installation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune understanding configuration profiles, application packaging, compliance management and Autopilot, fleet management.
• Basic configuration changes in Azure AD/Entra and Exchange Online.
• Experience of supporting Microsoft365 platform including Sharepoint, Onedrive, Teams, Bookings, Forms.
• Experience of working within the ITIL framework or working knowledge of service management concepts.
• Support hybrid meeting solutions and cloud printing.
• Some network management skills
