LHH has been engaged by a growing global business in Sussex to recruit a Senior Learning and Development Specialist to be responsible for developing and implementing their L&D programme in line with their business strategy.
As a member of the Talent team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Implement a learning and development strategy which fully supports the business strategy
- Carry out full Training Needs Analysis from induction training through to ongoing coaching and mentoring
- Ensure training material is kept up to date to reflect regulations, standards and company procedures
- Conduct an ongoing evaluation of all training delivered to ensure training skills and methods are up to date and effective
- Provide assessment of new staff, developing refresher training and ongoing coaching where necessary
- Work with the Group Talent team to develop a Training Directory for all staff to access and use
- Ensure training material is kept up to date to reflect regulations, standards and company procedures
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record of designing and delivering training within a stand-alone role ideally
- Experienced in managing LMS platforms, e-learning, management training and onboarding/ induction training
- Ability to work at a strategic and operational level
- Strong communicator with excellent relationship building and influencing skills
- The ability to influence business leaders to support technical and soft skills training
- International experience would be advantageous
