British Red Cross are looking for a Senior Learning and Organisational Development Advisor (Leadership & Management). Your primary focus will be to develop and deliver organisational wide programmes of development that builds our leadership and management capability.
A Day in the life of a Senior Learning and Development Advisor
In this exciting role, team work is essential. You will be part of a high performing team who are responsible for BRC's leadership and management development, and Organisational Development initiatives across the organisation. You have responsibility for working with senior stakeholders to scope and understand their capability needs. This will help us to achieve our strategic ambitions by creating appropriate interventions to address them.
You will have established learning consultancy skills and an innovative learning mindset. Your flair for creative design will make sure your learning solutions really hit the mark. This will be across a broad range of delivery mediums, including on virtual platforms.

To be a successful Senior Learning and Development Advisor
- You will be a great team player with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of learning and Organisational Development theory. Someone with strong consultancy skills and a proven ability to engage and build commitment to evidence driven solutions.
- You will be an experienced learning and development professional. You will have a specialism in leadership and people management development, with a track record of having successfully delivered leadership programmes to a diverse group of leaders.
- You will be comfortable working with various forms of data and insight. You will use these to generate evidence-based development options that help us to achieve our goals.
- You will be an excellent coach and facilitator. You will have experience of design and delivery of coaching, mentoring, management, leadership and talent development programmes. You will be confident working in a large, complex organisation and in virtual (as well as face to face) environments.
- Your project abilities will mean you are comfortable to work on multiple projects simultaneously. You will be confident to use your ability to analyse, interpret and generate insight from a range of data sources. A key element of this process will also involve the preparation and presentation of reports and information.
- You will be a great communicator and build relationships quickly with key stakeholders, including senior leadership groups.
