An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer in Human Genetics & Genomics to join a vibrant and innovative team. This is a fixed term part time post (two days/week for one year) to cover staff secondment. The applicant will be expected to work on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Applicants must hold a first degree and a PhD in a relevant field. They should have university experience and the ability to deliver broad-based teaching across Human Genetics and Genomics. Applicants with expertise in any relevant subject area will be considered. Applicants are expected to lead modules on the BSc/MSci Biomedical Science and the MSc Genomic Medicine programmes and contribute to teaching on these modules and others on the Biomedical Science and MBBS programmes. Experience of curriculum development, assessment, small group teaching and supervising research projects is desirable.
