The College of Education and Social Work at Birmingham City University is a dynamic and diverse academic community, with a strong track record of delivering excellent education at undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research postgraduate levels.

A new opportunity has arisen to join our our courses across Primary Education.

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with a background in Primary Mathematics, you will have QTS and substantial experience working across the Primary age phases.

The post holder will support teaching and learning activities across Primary Education and ITE courses, this includes marking, designing and delivering inspiring teaching.

We would like to hear from candidates with experience of mentoring.

Other responsibilities will include personal tutoring and pastoral care, working with Schools partners, providing academic and placement support for students play an active role in the recruitment of our students.

This is an exciting time to join our teams, we are developing our curriculum and Intensive Training and Practice within our programmes, therefor experience of curriculum design will be desirable.

You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have substantial experience in teaching across Primary age phases.
