We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Legal Counsel – Lending.
In this role, you will:
• Primarily, offer counsel and legal support to the UK WPB mortgage business, including in relation to business and regulatory change, project work, as well as advising on property and title issues.
• In addition, provide counsel and legal support to the UK WPB unsecured lending business, including in relation to business and regulatory change, project work and Legal risk.
• Be a trusted adviser to the UK WPB business through your ability to provide pragmatic and clear legal support and advice.
• Provide guidance to the WPB UK mortgage and unsecured lending businesses in relation to the control and management of legal risks.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the Global Legal team, developing positive and professional working relationships with all team members and all key stakeholders to contribute to the success of the mortgage and unsecured lending businesses in the wider Group whilst also ensuring any legal risk is mitigated.
• Support analysis of and responses to relevant regulatory change consultations related to Secured and Unsecured lending.
