Description
- Develop and implement innovative lighting fixtures for architectural purposes
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure design concepts are feasible
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of lighting projects, from concept to completion
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advances in lighting technology
- Present design concepts and finished projects to stakeholders
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams
- Mentor junior designers and share expert knowledge
Profile
A successful Senior Lighting Designer should have:
- A degree in Lighting Design, Industrial Design, architectural lighting design, electrical engineering or a related field
- Strong technical expertise in designing high-end chandeliers and ceiling lighting for architectural purposes
- Experience in designing and implementing lighting solutions for an LIA-listed business
- Comprehensive knowledge of lighting products and technology
- Proficiency in design software and electrical systems
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
