Senior Management Accountant

Reed Finance are partnered with a highly successful and well-known organisation within the not-for-profit space, in the recruitment of a Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager to join their team on an interim basis. Initially this role is expected for up to 6 months to support throughout an upcoming project. 

This is a varied, commercial management accounting and business partnering role where hitting the ground running is a must, so a full accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and previous finance experience gained within the public or not-for-profit sector is essential.

As Senior Management Accountant, your key duties will include:

• Providing end to end, accurate and timely monthly reporting
• Business partnering senior managers and non-financial colleagues
• Owning budgeting and forecasting processes, ranging from in-year through to 5+ year plans
• Project accounting and analysis
• Reviewing and improving financial reporting and processes
• Driving continuous improvement and championing change
• Inspiring and motivating a well-established wider finance team

The ideal Senior Management Accountant will:

• Possess a full accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Have proven experience gained within a public sector / not for profit organisation
• Be adaptable to a changing environment
• An excellent time manager who is able to deliver under tight reporting deadlines

Our client are working on a flexible, hybrid basis with 2 days per week required in the office, there are excellent transport links and plenty of free parking on site. Due to the nature of this interim role, the ideal candidate will need to be available immediately or at very short notice.
