Senior Management Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join one of our clients established teams. The ideal candidate should be able to effectively manage financial processes, a team of between 2 - 6 qualified or PQ accountants and to confidently contribute to financial decisions that will impact the wider business.

Description

• Manage and oversee the management accounting processes of specific businesses within the wider company.
• Contribute to strategic financial decisions by providing accurate financial information.
• Collaborate with the wider management team to set financial targets and budgets.
• Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Work closely with the finance team to enhance financial performance.
• Be a key part of the process improvement and automation.
• Assist in the implementation of financial systems and processes.
• Contribute to financial projects and initiatives within the company.
• Line manage a team of between 2 - 6 people.

Profile

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:

• Qualified either ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Proficient knowledge of accounting software and systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
