Job description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance Team.
We are looking for a highly qualified, professional and efficient individual who possesses interpersonal skills with self-confidence to lead within our Finance Team.
The role will involve leading the A/P and A/R ledgers in day-to-day operations whilst offering strong line management and developmental support. You will be offering support to our Financial Controller to improve processes/controls. This will involve completing ad-hoc projects to improve the transparency of the business and preparing for future system implementation changes.
The Accounts department is a fast paced, challenging environment and you will be expected to provide timely and accurate monthly reports as well as assist in the annual audit. Managing the month close process, ensuring effective cut off processes are in place and providing accurate balance sheets recs will be expected. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and ensuring compliance within regulatory requirements.
Experience required
Experience of managing, developing, and leading a team.Experience of monthly management accounting and analysis.Experience of managing multi-level relationships within the business.Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Accounting system.Experience of process improvement, including through use of IT.Involvement on a system implementation project would be desirable.
