We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join our busy finance team within our Support centre in Speke. This is a full time, 6 month maternity cover.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations this is a fantastic opportunity at a fast-paced FTSE 100 retailer.
The Key Accountabilities in the role are:
- Month end journals, prepayments, and accruals for assigned stores down to store contribution.
- Significant involvement in year end reconciliation processes.
- Finance department link with IT. Ensure all costs are captured accurately.
- Stock reconciliations – working closely with various departments across the business to ensure stock is accurately recorded and all discrepancies are investigated.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:
- Qualified or QBE Management Accountant
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment, preferably retail.
- Ability to hit the ground running.
- Excellent communication skills.
