The Royal Society is the independent scientific academy of the UK dedicated to promoting excellence in science. Our Grants team manage a range of fellowship and grants programmes which provide research funding support for high calibre scientists in the UK and overseas to conduct curiosity-led research.
The Society’s Grants team continues to expand to meet the needs of an evolving research funding landscape. We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated individual familiar with grants management Systems and Data to work within the Grant Operations team in a diverse role that will focus on making the most of technology and Data for process management and decision making.
Ensuring that Grants activity is following both organisational and sector good practice and working with multiple stakeholders, including Royal Society Fellows, this exciting role will manage the evolution of the Society’s the grant management systems used to deliver its activities and the data flowing through each of its processes, to identify and manage improvement projects to fulfil our strategic principles of excellence, inclusivity, flexibility, openness and fairness.

All Royal Society roles are office based at our Piccadilly premises, although some hybrid working is available depending on the role. No fully remote contracts are offered. Please ensure you are able to come to our central London offices on a regular basis, whenever you are needed, and at your own expense before applying. We do not offer any relocation allowance or travel subsidy.
