Senior Manager, Grant Systems And Data

Working within the Grant Operations, this role will serve as the key member of the team responsible primarily for managing and improving the Royal Society’s grant management system and its interoperability with allied business systems to support the effective and efficient delivery of the new Grants strategy. Working closely with other teams across the organisation, the Senior Manager for Grants Systems and Data will develop a detailed understanding of the Society’s grant application and management processes, the systems used to deliver these activities and the data flowing through each of the processes, to identify and manage improvement projects to fulfil our strategic principles of excellence, inclusivity, flexibility, openness and fairness. The role will also work with other key members of the Grants team to ensure that staff are given the best possible information and training to ensure their use of systems is appropriate and consistent, and support the development of management reports to aid decision making.
