The Senior/Manager Learning and Development will be a part of the Endeavor Learning and Organizational Development Team, dedicated to support the OpenBet business unit. In the role, you will build our learning strategy and program roadmap focused on uplifting and maturing management and leadership capabilities, building technical and professional capabilities, and supporting and enabling a diverse and inclusive culture.
Day-to-day, this individual will work to create, implement and measure the impact of the company’s management & leadership development efforts. This includes co-building: management & leadership development experiences, tools and frameworks; high-potential development programs; succession planning philosophy & methodology; coaching & mentoring solutions; and leadership assessments for first-time people managers through our senior executives.
You will be responsible for shaping the employee experience through broad professional and career development programs that apply a blended approach to learning: coaching, classroom training, action learning, and e-learning. You will partner with internal stakeholders across OpenBet to design and promote programs that support employee growth. This includes building innovative, relevant and scalable professional and employee development learning programs, a career planning philosophy, frameworks and tools; and other creative solutions to build capabilities across our employee population.
You’ll drive synergies and integration with other strategic people programs and services, including talent and performance management, total rewards, inclusion and recruiting.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to businesses & HR on matters of Learning and career development, partnering with senior leaders, the HR leadership team, and HR Business Partners to understand the specific skills required of managers, leaders and executives to identify learning needs, priorities and understand the capabilities needed to enable Open Bet’s continued growth.
  • Translate strategies into learning solutions aligned to OpenBet’s overall business objectives:
    • Design, curate and deliver a global suite of highly effective solutions that elevates employee capability and organizational performance across the globe. Learning solutions will span in-person, virtual, 1:1, self-paced, action learning, on-demand and blended methodologies.
    • Develop and implement communication plans that engage employees, managers and leaders in Learning and Development solutions.
    • Implement evaluation strategies that provide meaningful insights and guide our investment.
  • Design and deliver a suite of highly effective solutions, with close alignment to the business, that elevates management & leadership capability and organizational performance across the globe. Solutions may include formal learning programs, experiential learning assignments, assessments and feedback, coaching, etc.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Executive Leadership, HR Leadership team and HR business partners, Partners, etc.) to ensure solutions are relevant, drive key business outcomes and align to key talent strategies across the company.
  • Create engaging training and Development materials (PowerPoint Decks, Job Aids, eLearnings etc) that look visually appealing and do the job.
  • Collaborate to build and global career management agenda in partnership with other HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Inclusion) to ensure a consistent, employee-centred design. This agenda will include our career progression philosophy, processes and tools (including critical experiences) to support high-quality career discussions, drive growth and promote organizational diversity.
  • Drive best practices and integrate into Endeavor processes – while also knowing what other best in class companies are doing.

Qualification:
Knowledge and Experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in building and scaling employee Learning and career development programs
  • Experience working in multi-national geographically dispersed technology company strongly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Learning and career development including formal and informal methods
  • Broad global perspective and the ability to lead with cultural sensitivity across a diverse, global organization
  • Successfully driven large-scale global programs to completion within time and budget
  • Well-versed in digital learning, just-in-time/micro-learning, and blended learning strategies
  • Aware of the Career Development technology landscape
  • Experience with learning evaluation and people analytics
  • Knowledge of industry trends and the latest research
