About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Programme Management (UK&I) this leadership role has a focus on regional readiness and delivery of global and local strategic projects. Managing a team of two direct reports and working closely with European Change Management & Technical delivery teams, this role is focused on ensuring the regional business unit is able to implement technical projects successfully and at pace in order to help the business realise the full potential within our local operating model and P&L.

Based in our Leicester office and reporting to the VP, Bus Ops & Marketing, you will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of a roadmap of projects on behalf of the UK&I business, ensuring the support model adjusts as necessary to help the business meet their prioritised strategic goals.

This role will also have a dotted line to the European Change Management function and may involve some occasional travel to support our teams in the field including offices in London and Dublin, as well as locations in the north of England.

The duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Own the intake and prioritisation of projects for the UK&I business, ensuring these align with our regional P&L commitments and strategic goals
• Lead Change Management team for UK&I, ensuring smooth implementation of all projects in the stack as well as managing two direct reports and overseeing their projects
• Run 1-2 high profile strategic projects
• Align UK&I governance and process to wider European Change function
• Develop program plan incorporating milestones and dependencies from cross functional project teams
• Be the point of contact for all programmes that impact the UK&I business, using KPIs to demonstrate progress and ensure that projects are realising benefits. This includes providing status reports with project milestones, success criteria results, metrics, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership and to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders.

About You

The ideal candidate would have more than 8 years experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment and a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment.

• Leadership: Ability to get people to buy into and deliver on change. Drive ownership and accountability within the project team. Advocate for team vision, mission and objectives. Ability to effectively line manage and delegate.
• Commercial: Understands the needs of the merchants and market and can plausibly evaluate and advise on the impact of wider European / global projects and the UK P&L opportunities
• Planning & Delivery: Experience of successfully delivering on large and complex projects in a fast paced business environment to tangible business goals. Extensive experience of using and adapting project management methodologies.
• Change Management: Ability to drive change at all levels of the organisation.
• Comms & Rel. Management: Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to build relationships across the organisation at different levels, lead communications with large groups and manage senior executive stakeholders within and outside of the organisation.
• Tech Expertise: Strong experience of technology and tools to support program & project management.
