As our Senior Marketing Manager at Affinity Water, your primary responsibility is to lead and execute campaigns that drive significant positive changes in customer behaviors.
This is an exciting role, demanding a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer psychology, 'through the line' advertising, and marketing performance analytics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Affinity Water to develop and implement campaign and advertising strategies that resonate with segmented target audiences and inspire direct customer action. This pivotal role is instrumental in shaping consumer perceptions of Affinity Water and their behaviors through innovative strategies.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive advertising strategies aligned with Affinity Water's organisational goals and target audience behaviors.Utilise in-house and third-party partnerships, including market research, consumer insights, and data analytics, to inform campaign planning and decision-making.
Behavioural Change Focus: Design campaigns with a clear focus on influencing customer behaviors, whether it's water conservation, Smart Metering awareness, brand recognition, or promoting ESG/sustainable practices.
Creative Direction: Provide creative direction and feedback to internal teams or external agencies to develop compelling advertising content and messaging that resonates with target audiences and drives desired behaviours.
Budget Management:Manage advertising budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize impact and ROI.Track expenses, negotiate/own contracts with vendors, and optimize spending to achieve campaign objectives within budget constraints.
Experience required:
- Possess personal gravitas and credibility to engage, challenge, and influence a wide range of internal and external senior stakeholders.
- Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in advertising, marketing, or related roles, with a focus on campaign management and customer behavioral change.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, behavioral economics, and persuasion techniques.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and campaign performance measurement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through advertising.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
