We are seeking a Senior Medical Scientist with expertise in Blood Transfusion to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Blood Transfusion laboratory setting and have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform serological testing on patient samples to ensure compatibility for Blood Transfusions - Perform quality control testing and maintain accurate records - Provide technical expertise and guidance to laboratory staff - Participate in continuing education and maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in Blood Transfusion - Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements - Participate in research and development of new testing methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Blood Transfusion laboratory setting - CORU Registration - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
