We're looking for a Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Physiotherapy team at The Shard (London Bridge Hospital), currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.
The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf. With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a full MSK caseload, managing a variety of patient conditions, whilst supporting the Advanced Physiotherapists and clinical lead with service development initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for a Musculoskeletal clinical caseload
- To utilise advanced clinical reasoning skills and knowledge in providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment, facilitating evidence-based care.
- To contribute in training across the Outpatient Physiotherapy department
- To support the Clinical Lead and Advanced Physiotherapists in clinical service development initiatives
- To actively seek opportunities to develop strong communication lines and relationships with Orthopaedic, Sports Medicine, Pain and Rheumatology Consultants
