• Up to GBP60,000 per annum + benefits package
• Southampton (hybrid working), 2-3 days per week in the office

• Their largest ever Greenfield project developing a new case management system

From helping to bring compensation to victims of sexual abuse in one of the largest class action lawsuits in British history to securing much needed specialist treatment funding for a child who suffered brain damage in a catastrophic injury case, their work is truly impactful on families across the UK.

To continue doing great work they do they need to strengthen their IT services function. Like any law firm they've been a part of mergers and acquisitions over the years meaning crucial work is needed to centralise and modernise their IT and software. As .NET Developer you'll be part of the team undertaking their largest ever greenfield development project building a new case management system to replace their previous platforms and streamline their services.

As a Senior .NET Developer, You'll have strong communication skills and be technically adept in C#, ASP.NET and SQL database systems. They have several database, UI and operating systems that need to be re-developed into 1 new cleaner platform. This work will directly allow for faster and better case management moving forward leading to positive outcomes for families across the UK.

Key skills:

• Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience with C# & ASP.NET
• Strong ability with SQL and working with SQL relational Databases
• Senior level software engineer with several years experience developing software solutions
• Strong communication skills & an ability to speak to technical & non-technical stakeholders
• Prior experience working with SOAP/REST APIs to integrate multiple platforms
• Understanding of programming principles & design patterns
• Proficiency with agile ticketing software such as Jira
• Ability to work on Front End development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Beneficial skills:

• Prior experience or knowledge with legal software applications
• Knowledge of Blazor framework
• Proficiency in source control systems such as GIT/DevOps
• Experience of data migration and data cleansing activities
