Senior Npi Engineer

We are supporting as groundbreaking new technology business in their search for a NPI Engineer to take ownership of pilot manufacturing processes. The organisation is developing its products to integrate into 3rd party designs and requires a seasoned NPI Engineer to lead on the development of new production process, tool design and testing methodologies. This is a newly created role within the business and works closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure robust DFM. There will be a requirement for international travel to facilitate knowledge transfer of the newly developed manufacturing processes into client factories. Technically astute, you will be comfortable dealing with various international stakeholders.
Core duties include:
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from conception to production, ensuring successful implementation within established timelines and budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans that meet customer requirements and quality standards
• Collaborating with design department to ensure all requirements are met at concept stage
Producing test procedures for new products & reporting on results
Creation & modification of new & existing technical documentation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
