Requirements for the role of Senior Nurse (RGN):

You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)

Valid NMC Pin

Clear DBS

Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices and CQC regulations

The role of a Senior Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home involves:

Providing management and leadership to the Nursing and Care team

Ensuring that the care, welfare, and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard.

Carrying out assessments and evaluations

Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly.

Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies

Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in recode keeping, documentation and health and safety.
