Responsibilities
• Undertake developmental assessment• Contribute to assessment of the needs of the child and family• Deliver health promotion sessions• Work as part of multi-agency and disciplinary teams• Carry out roles delegated by a health visitor or nurse• Contribute to assessments of family needs• Deliver health promotion and education to parents/carers• Work within scope of competence and practice• Assist in planning, delivery, and evaluation of care programs• Provide care and support to identified families
Requirements
• Post qualification experience in community health settings• Experience in working with children and families• Knowledge of child development• Ability to deliver health promotion and education• Skills in multi-agency working• Ability to maintain confidential and accurate records
