The University Of Birmingham - Qualified Nursery Nurse

My name is Annalise and I specialise in Early Years' recruitment at Hays. I am delighted to let you know that we are working with the University of Birmingham Nurseries to supply qualified early years practitioners for flexible shift work. They have three early years settings in South Birmingham. These are; The Oaks, The Elms and The Maples Day Nursery, which are based in Edgbaston and Selly Oak.
Your new role
The nurseries are currently looking for qualified early years practitioners. These must be in either level 3 childcare or early years ONLY. We cannot accept any other qualifications. This is not a role with fixed hours or days, but there is demand for multiple days throughout the week with flexible nursery hours. You will be required to work in different rooms, from babies to preschool, you must be open to personal care (nappy changing) and having a first aid qualification is also a bonus!
What you need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you must be a confident and positive individual, who is easily able to adapt to a new setting and integrate into a new team. You must be able to try new things, build relationships with both staff and the children. You MUST be able to support yourself with personal care. The hours range from 7:45 - 17:45 and there are different flexible shifts available every week between these hours. We offer full day, morning and afternoon bookings.
