As part of an innovative clinical and operational structure across the organisation we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operational Coordinator to join our Dermatology and Plastic Surgery department.This post will be based at either Colchester or Ipswich Hospital and will be discussed as part of the interview process.
As Senior Operational Coordinator, you will responsible for providing Leadership to the administrative teams and ensuring that a high quality comprehensive administrative service is delivered.
The Senior Operational Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery department for ESNEFT and will have complete oversight of the service at both Colchester and Ipswich Hospital.
The Senior Operational Coordinator will be accountable for monitoring, assessing and reporting on performance within defined service areas. This will involve highlighting any issues to the General Manager and identifying appropriate action to be taken. The Senior Operational Coordinator will also be required to attend all relevant performance meetings with their General Manager.
In conjunction with General Manager and Service Manager the Senior Operational Coordinator will provide operational management support for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery services.
The Senior Operational Co-ordinator will provide leadership to and motivate Operational Co-ordinators, Team Leaders and administrative teams within their designated departments / services to deliver and improve services so meeting patient needs and support the day to day line management of administrative teams within their Clinical Delivery Group as required.
The Senior Operational Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that a high quality comprehensive administrative service is delivered within their designated departments / services.
The Senior Operational Coordinator will be accountable for reviewing capacity and demand on a regular basis and taking action on any variance to eliminate bottlenecks and work with clinical teams to redefine patient pathways when deemed necessary.
The Senior Operational Co-ordinator will work across the CDG / in specific areas as required to ensure waiting list data is accurate, updated in a timely manner and that all suspensions are valid. Support the development of quality data systems to support patient access flows.
The Senior Operational Coordinator will also be required to attend all relevant performance meetings with their Service Manager and will be required to deputise in their absence.
