Senior Operations Analyst - London Market Underwriter

London - 2 days per week in the office

Salary up to GBP50,000 pa

Finitas are working with a London Market Underwriter who have established a dedicated Operations and Compliance Team to support the underwriting process and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. They are now looking to hire a Senior Operations Analyst to lead and streamline a number of their processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing operational controls in relation to aged-debt and commission reconciliation.
• Assessing operational processes and enhancing/streamlining where feasible.
• Enforcing the timely receipt of bordereaux from external stakeholders.
• Recording commercial agreements using PAS system and periodically updating EPIs.
• Utilising technical experience to troubleshoot any issues arising.

Person Specification

• 4-5 years of experience within insurance operations
• Strong knowledge of London Market operational processes and systems (eg DXC).
• A good problem solver and source of expertise to resolve issues.
• Experience with designing and improving processes.
• Keen to further a career within insurance operations.
