Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a renowned company with a rich history and global presence? My client is seeking a talented individual to join our team in Sidcup. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our production lines and equipment.
Shifts/Hours:
Rotating day/night shift pattern
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks on complex production equipment and packaging systems are carried out as specified in the maintenance execution plan.
- Effectively streamline maintenance procedures by using the Central Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Conducting fault diagnosis, testing, and repairing of Mechanical equipment.
- Identifying and reporting machinery or component defects, and providing comprehensive CMMS data. QESH checks and immediately escalate any non-conformance.
- Follow any necessary stock checks or held stock processes, and take part in risk analyses for environmental health and safety.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- NVQ level 3, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Substantial experience performing mechanical maintenance.
- Must have Mechanical experience working with production lines run by Siemens/Allen Bradley systems, ideally in the bottling business.
- Understanding and practical expertise with frequency drives and other electrical components.
- Strong skills in fault-finding, corrective maintenance, and asset care.
