Minimum 3 ans
- STCW95 OOW unlimited Certificate of Competency with Oil DCE or N/SVQ Processing Operations Hydrocarbons (Level 3) or equivalent accompanied by relevant experience in an FSO / FPSO marine control room
- Experience of North Sea offshore production operations as a CRO with knowledge of associated technical standards, processes and relevant legislation
- Management of Major Emergencies; CRO controlling emergencies is preferred with sufficient understanding of process safety and major accident hazard management to be able to effectively contribute and influence business decisions impacting process safety
- This role will ideally suit a highly experienced and seasoned Marine CRO who can take responsibility for all control room operations independently and has developed the technical and non-technical skills to carry some supervision duties as required
- Able to read and work from engineering / vendor drawings including P&IDs and Cause & Effects
- Experience of managing and controlling plant performance to deliver on performance targets and environmental limits
- Extensive knowledge of Process and supporting control systems including:
- PCS, F&G and ESD systems
- Operating instructions, the risks they control and the ability to interpret control room information
- Emergency systems such as plant flare/vent systems, their operation and implications
- Station keeping equipment
- Cargo loading/storage/offload equipment
- Ballast systems
- Impact of chemical additions to process fluids
- Operating capacity, safe operating limits/envelope and composition of process fluids
- Process safety and operational efficiency and the importance of company procedures
- Experienced in the control and use of Safe Systems of Work (PTW) procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner; proficiency in written and verbal English are a prerequisite
- Ability to create positive relations to peers and stakeholders internally and externally

- Actively support a working environment based on respect for health, safety and environmental issues and maintenance of a high level of asset integrity
- Responsible to optimise plant operations which contribute to minimising the environmental impact from operations (venting, CO2 emissions, overboard discharges etc.)
- Execute duties as specified in the emergency response procedures or as directed by the OIM/Delegate
- Provide input to major accident hazard management, in particular the prevention, detection, control, mitigation and response to major accidents
- To have sufficient understanding of process safety and major accident hazard management to be able to effectively contribute and influence business decisions impacting process safety
- Build effective working relationships with other departments and shifts
- Coordinating daily activities and handovers and maintaining relationships with site personnel
- Has a detailed knowledge of Topsides, Marine and Utilities systems, plant layout and controls, including their function and operation, as specified in Process Operating Procedures, vendors’ manuals and other relevant documentation
- Direct responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the installation’s process control systems from the Central Control Room, including condensate and fuel gas receiving systems, metering, chemical injection, and water emissions, in compliance with regulatory reporting and constraints
- Carry out where required process and marine systems sampling activities and prepare results as required, monitoring chemical injection rates and helping to maintain tank levels and stocks. Carry out OIW sampling where appropriate.
- Assessing and interpreting equipment and system status, including detection of process upsets and understanding the process to restore operations
- Carry out the role of Area Authority (Night Shift), Area Operator and Isolating Authority in the preparation of process and marine plant and equipment maintenance as specified on the relevant plant isolation certificate, Permit to Work or process and marine plant operating procedures.
- Relevant knowledge of the Installation Safety Case, Cause and Effects and process systems with lead responsibility for monitoring plant conditions with a comprehensive working knowledge of PCS, PSD, ESD and F&G systems
- Ensure FSO stability is maintained within regulatory parameters – responsible for ballast/cargo operations and movement, maintain records and send reports to TA and DNV
- Plan and execute cargo offloads to shuttle tankers, ensuring quality of cargo is within commercial specification
- Monitor station keeping equipment and able to interpret and identify/report excursions exceeding design limits
- Responsible for fault identification and initial investigation on control systems
- Responsible for Helicopter radio communications for FSO flights
- Co-ordinates marine vessel activity within installation 500m zone
- Maintains process plant records, log sheets and equipment running data sheets, using appropriate management information systems as per Company procedures; recognises readings outside set values and informs the Operations Supervisor as required
- Work planning:
- Highlight defects, procedures, equipment and tools to the attention of relevant staff
- Ensure necessary and timely preparation for activities is undertaken, including the raising of relevant work permits
- Prepare the correct inhibit and override risk assessments for equipment requiring maintenance
- Under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor, responsible for completing verification assurance and routine activities
- Liaise with other departments and contract personnel to ensure awareness of work ongoing which may affect the CRO’s response to situations
- Maintain accurate and appropriate maintenance records and ensure that the data is entered into the appropriate information management systems
- Commit to TEP UK Competence Assurance System and undertake any training and assessment required for the role.
- Comply with Company procedures and ensure handovers with all relevant information are undertaken at the end of shift and mobilisation

This is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract on an offshore rotation.
Culzean is a significant Central North Sea uHP/HT development with a substantial gas production capacity that came on stream mid 2019. Ailsa is the Culzean dedicated FSO moored 3.2 KM from the central processing facility. Ailsa imports condensate and fuel gas from the Culzean via infield pipelines and periodically offloads this condensate to shuttle tankers for transportation onshore.
