We work together internally and externally to ensure the best outcomes for the people we support.The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Call Operator to join our Out of Hours emergency accommodation service. We are looking for someone who can continue the already successful delivery of the service and also support with the delivery of our Young Parents service.The Out of Hours service provides emergency accommodation for people across Derbyshire outside of normal hours, the team of Call Operators assess the need for this over the phone and then will source temporary accommodation if necessary.This role will involve line management of the Call Operators, providing support, supervision and guidance. You will also be responsible for managing annual leave and the rota, alongside some reporting and ensuring the smooth running of the service.  We are looking for someone who is approachable, friendly and has an understanding of some of the issues faced by people making the calls to us. We are looking for compassionate and non-judgemental individuals who can help to support people over the phone who are having a difficult time.You will be based in our Young Parents accommodation service in Sutton in Ashfield where you will support the Service Manager in the smooth running of the service.What We OfferIn return we offer the chance to join an expanding, dynamic organisation, with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.
