We are working with a lovely GP Practice in Clifton, who require a Senior Patient Co Ordinator on a full time basis.
Duties to include (but not limited to)
- Effectively triage calls from patients and those visiting the surgery to ensure they access the most appropriate healthcare professional first time (Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Community Pharmacy etc)
- Assisting patients with general enquiries
- Administrative duties
- Assisting with the moving and rescheduling of appointments
- Ensure Reception area and waiting room are left tidy
- Liaise with colleagues regarding unsolved problems
- Maintain exemplary levels of customer service
- Provide cover in the absence of the Reception Manager to help guide and lead the Reception Team by assisting with general queries, helping with challenging patient interactions, ensuring daily tasks are completed and kept on top of.
- Assisting with the management and updating of the Reception team rota as and when necessary
- Promote a positive and motivated workforce culture
- Assisting the Practice Manager with Health and Safety within the surgery.
- Supporting the Ops Manager with the recording of staff training.
Our client requires someone who can hit the ground running and will ideally have previous medical experience although candidates with excellent customer skills, team leader experience and a good telephone manner will be considered.
