Description
The Senior Payroll Administrator (HYBRID) role involves:
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities
- Manage portfolio of Payrolls (monthly fortnight and weekly)
- Be able to processes payrolls from start to finish and provide support and advice to clients
- Liaise with clients and third parties
- Dealing with transfers of clients in and out of the business
- Setting up and closing PAYE schemes
- Resolving payroll issues and HMRC queries for clients
- Work with the team to improve and develop the payroll department
- To assist the team to make sure all work is completed
- Pension admin management for clients
- Ad hoc duties as required

- Excellent payroll skills (manual calculations and in depth understanding)

Profile
A successful candidates for the The Senior Payroll Administrator (HYBRID) role will have:
- Previous experience of managing multiple pay periods across several payrolls (idelaly from a Payroll Bureau or Accountancy practice background - but not essential)
- Proficiency in payroll software (ideally Xero / Brightpay /Surepay / STAR / IRIS)
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of payroll tax legislation
