This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of our small and friendly payroll team. You will be instrumental in the team achieving its objectives associated with delivering an accurate, timely and ‘service focused’ payroll, providing a first-class payroll service to approximately 7500 employees throughout the UK.
Key areas of responsibility will include the following:
- Overseeing the processing of the monthly payrolls, to ensure an efficient, accurate and timely payroll is completed, completing monthly reporting and acting as an escalation point for the team on more complex queries.
- Assisting the Payroll manager with the reconciliation of all payroll general ledger accounts, including: HMRC, pension and all other third-party payments.
- Assisting with development, monitoring, and evaluation of appropriate payroll processes as deemed necessary in accordance with SOX and audit requirements.
- Assisting with the monthly HMRC reporting required to meet current legislation and deadlines as well as supporting with the full end to end process for end of year.
- Overseeing the payroll ServiceNow ticketing system, ensuring that SLAs are met and that all queries are assigned. Supporting the payroll admin team in responding at peak times of the month.
