Description
- Build and maintain detailed financial investment models in Excel, underwriting acquisition and development projects incorporating scenario testing and sensitivity analysis.
- Manage all asset and portfolio level financial models.
- Assist with the communication of project and portfolio updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the coordination and compliance with all requirements for closing and funding of transactions (acquisition, development, financing)
- Market analysis and feasibility studies
- Preparing investment presentations and related materials for both internal (VP to C-Suite) and external capital partners.
- Manage Due Diligence process, including the analysis and review of market data, financial statements, development budgets, 3rd party reports, and legal documentation.
- Management and ongoing update of market databases.
Profile
- BSc / MSc Degree in Real Estate (or a Built Environment Degree under a different title), Finance, Accounting, or related discipline - or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- IMC, CFA, MRICS or ACA preferred (ideally combination of 2)
- Minimum of 1 or 2 years post-qualified experience in Real Estate Investment, investment banking or related disciplines. Ideally 4 years+ of total professional experience.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, with advanced modelling skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong Real Estate analysis and presentation skills.
- Strong analytic / quantitative skills with high attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated, passion to work at pace in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrate non-linear thinking with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing tasks.
- Collaborative, team-oriented individual with strong sense of integrity and professionalism
