Due to exciting business growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading specialist lending bank based in the City of London as they seek THREE Credit Analysts to join their team. You will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing credit risk for their portfolio of property loans. Your expertise will ensure that the bank makes informed lending decisions that align with their strategic goals and risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities of the Credit Analyst to include:
- Conduct thorough credit analysis for Property Finance applications, including residential, commercial, and development projects.
- Assess financial statements, property appraisals, market conditions, and borrower profiles to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approvals.
- Monitor and manage the performance of existing loans, identifying potential risks and opportunities for portfolio optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, risk management, and sales, to ensure a seamless lending process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting the Property Finance sector.
Requirements for the successful Credit Analyst to include:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Previous experience in credit analysis, with a focus on Property Finance.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
- Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure.
