Our client is a well established Real Estate investor, asset manager and lender. They are looking to further expand their lending team with the appointment of a Loan Finance Manager who is well established, has a network of contacts and who can show a clear track record of origination.
The Main Responsibilities will be:
•Origination of structured lending opportunities. Cross sector (residential and commercial). Senior, mezzanine and preferred equity positions, development facilities and loan on loan structures.
•Sell the credit side of our client’s business to the market. Leveraging existing broker contact base, including marketing initiatives and one to one networking;
•Fully assessing and analysing the risk/reward dynamics on any given potential financing opportunity and structure pricing accordingly.
•Present recommendations to Investment Committee and Main Board.
•Undertaking full due diligence on approved lending opportunities including leading and executing on Real Estate due diligence, counterparty risk analysis and the like.
•Monitoring and managing originated loans on an ongoing basis to maturity.
•Deals will be in the range of £3m-£50m.
The successful candidate will have:
•A background of 3-5 years plus lending experience in a direct lending role, preferably some property exposure outside of a lending role.
•Prior track record which will include primary role deal management and client relations in addition to business origination.
•Ability to work across the group with the Investment and Property Teams as required.
